You Are Terrific.

Happy Friday! Cynthia here to share my very first post on the Challenge Blog. :) This month, the DT had the opportunity to play with Cas-ual Stamps.  The Pretty Posies set is full of posies and sweet sentiments. I paired one of the sentiments from this stamp set with Gorjuss Girl Pretend Friend to create this simple card. I colored her and her little friend with Copic Markers and used some paper scraps for the background.

Hope you have a restful weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Seas The Day

Hello crafty people!!! I'm here to share my card with you today.

This week I'm using Cas-ual Fridays Mermaid stamp set
With Distress Oxide inks and Prima Color Bloom Sprays.

I embossed the stamps with white embossing powder.  Then used the oxide inks and Color bloom sprays.  I really liked how it turned out especially the shimmer of the color bloom sprays.

I hope I've inspired you to SEAS the day and do something crafty.

A little love song

Amy here with my weekly Tuesday post for 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store. During the month of August the 7 Kids design team is being sponsored by Cas-ual Fridays and Vilda Stamps. Because they made for such a perfect pairing once before I am revisiting the Heartbeats stamp set from Cas-ual Fridays and the second cutie from the Greeting Farm Our Song set. This time around I went with a more vibrant and upbeat color scheme using Distress Inks to add pink to the background. This little musician looked to me like a quirky indie rocker so I gave her a pretty pink streak in her hair to match. Next I second generation stamped the music notes onto the journaling card so they would be light enough to stamp the wonderful sentiment right over top. Then all I had to do to finish the card was add her to the bottom and affix the whole thing to the card front.  :)
Last week saw the start of a brand new 'anything goes' challenge so there is plenty of time to play along! You will love all of the great new product hitting the shelves and that $20 gift certificate prize could really help fill a shopping cart!

Vilda Stamps and Cas-ual Fridays

Happy Monday everyone!
I am celebrating the start off the new week with a card I created for this month's Anything Goes challenge. 💝

Remember to enter - because one lucky winner will receive a $20 gc to the store!

For my card I used Vilda Stamps Christmas and a sentiment from Cas-ual Fridays Pretty Posies:

I found some wonderful scraps in my hoard drawer of the mushroom paper (Recollections)
and colored up the images with Copics. I popped everything up on dimensional dots and finished it with that sweet sentiment on a banner.
Come by the challenge blog post to see what everyone has created!
We can't wait to see what you design for this month. 😃

Have a beautiful day everyone, thank you for coming by!

Thank you ladies for your awesome work over the last half of the year, and best wishes for a blessed future.

Today, we are announcing two NEW members to the 7 Kids Your Crafting Store DESIGN TEAM! Please give Cynthia Roybal and Joni Wilson a warm welcome! They are amazing and talented ladies and we are so thankful they are joining our team! We know you are going to love their work!
Hello! My name is Cynthia and I love paper crafting. I am a nurse by day and a frustrated karaoke singer by night. I was born in the Philippines and grew up in Las Vegas. I met my very ginger husband through our church choir and our little family is made up my stepkids and 2 Shih Tzus.  I am the proud auntie to 4 nephews and 1 niece. I think that they are all geniuses and I am not afraid to chomp on their cute little cheeks. They are quite afraid of me. :) My guilty pleasures include the Spice Girls, The Walking Dead, and all things Real Housewives. I can bake a mean banana bread and can organize anything. Just ask my planner. :)

Hi everyone! My name is Joni Wilson and I am so excited to be a part of 7 Kids Design Team. A little about me: I was born and raised on the island of Kaua'i, I am a proud military wife (23 years of Army life!), blessed mother of 6, and a fur mom of a rescued Husky mix. Aside from playing with paper and Copics, I love being in the kitchen, watching football and volleyball, and shopping for bargains. I'm also known for rescuing discounted (aka dead) plants and bringing them back to life. I have always loved 7 Kids Craft Store and the amazing products that they carry, this is truly a dream come true to be able to work with Kelly and all the talented designers!

And, now for inspiration from our Design Team using Cas-ual Fridays Stamps and Vilda Stamps.

Thank you for joining our Challenge #11 today!
This Challenge will end September 12th, 2017 at 12pm EST.  Please link your card below and good luck!

Put on a tutu and twirl

Amy here with my weekly 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store card creation. As I mentioned last week, during the month of August the 7 Kids DT is being sponsored by Cas-ual Fridays and Vilda Stamps. So today I have inked up this sweet ballerina and sentiment from the Cas-ual Fridays Tutu set. The stamp is actually more of a silhouette but by using desert sand ink she was light enough to color in details with my Copic markers. She brought to mind the character Margo from the Despicable Me movie, when the sisters are all dressed up for their ballet recital, so I ran with that idea. Now here she is, as we peek from back stage, watching her shine bright in the spotlight.  :)

Alrighty, well the July challenge just wrapped up but be sure to come back tomorrow when August's challenge kicks off! So much good stuff has been hitting the store shelves and that $20 gift certificate that is up for grabs could really help to fill a shopping cart!
Copic markers:

Cas-ual Fridays Mermaids

Happy Sunday everyone! Hope you are having a relaxing weekend so far! It's Rosie here today sharing a card for 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store using these beautiful mermaid silhouettes from the Cas-ual Fridays Mermaids Clear Stamp Set. Aren't they gorgeous?! I can see so many uses for this stamp set. I've got some ideas flowing...I just need to find the time to do them!

7 Kids has an awesome selection of Cas-ual Fridays stamps HERE. You are going to love this line!
The first thing I did to make this card was create the under-the-sea background. I used several Tim Holtz Distress Oxide Inks: Salty Ocean, Faded Jeans, Peeled Paint, and Seedless Preserves. I used a sponge applicator and swirled my colors all over watercolor paper. After I achieve the look I was going for, I took a wet paintbrush and tapped it against a pen to get wet splatters all over. Then I took some paper towel and dabbed up the ink.
For the mermaids, I stamped them onto the left over pieces of my watercolored paper with Versamark, and then heat embossed them with Black Embossing Powder. I then fussy cut them out and attached them to my card with pop-dots.
Don't forget about our current ANYTHING GOES Challenge. You still have a few more days to enter!! Just click on the link on the right side bar to upload your card for a chance at winning a $20 gift certificate to the store! Please use products from the 7 Kids Store on your projects.

Have a great Sunday my friends!
