Big Birthday Wishes

Amy here with my Tuesday post for 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store. To be honest, I came into this week not having a solid plan for today's card which is unusual for me. Normally, I've gotten a new stamp or have a technique I want to play with so I know generally what I'm going to do well in advance. This time though, Monday hit and I still had no idea. So I sat down and started flipping through my stamps until this fun Candle Blowing birthday girl from CC Designs caught my eye. I always love the challenge of coloring candle glow and I decided to make it really dramatic by coloring the background dark grey... like all of the lights have been turned off for the song and celebration. So I did that and was happy with how it turned out but she was looking rather lonely all by herself in that dark room so I grabbed the older Surprise! set and stamped in a couple of fellow party goers. By keeping them in grey tones with only touches of candle glow the birthday girl remains the star of the show. Then I found the perfect sentiment in Jessie's new Happy Birthday to You set from Whimsy to pull it all together. I guess the lesson to take away is that sometimes 'winging it' can lead to fun ideas and results!
There is still time to enter this month's challenge. Kelly has an awesome $20 gift certificate up for grabs and you could be the lucky winner so get to creating and join the fun!

You Are Magical and Distressed Background

Happy Saturday! It's Mindy from Paper Creations by Mindy and I'm here  with a super fun distressed background AND .... I have a process video to go with it ! Please excuse my voice in it as I'm just getting over a head cold .

For this background I'm using my Distress Ink Oxides (you can also use regular distress inks) and a ziploc bag! Crazy what we find around the house to use on our projects! I'll have all the supplies listed out below the picture and be sure to check out my video!

I colored up my adorable little unicorn with copic markers and cut it out with my Scan n Cut. I highly recommend getting one of these if you plan on stamping a lot - that is - if you HATE fussy cutting like me ha! I know they are pricey - but totally worth it!

Anywho - I used pop dots for my unicorn for some dimension and the sentiment I stamped straight onto my card. I use the Misti Stamping Tool to do all my stamping. I seriously cannot say enough good things about this tool. I am horrible at lining things up straight or sometimes things don't stamp all the way and good luck trying to line it back up - clear block or not - its a pain. This stamping tool is awesome!

Supplies
(regular distress inks will work too!)
Neenah White Solar Cardstock
Papertrey Ink cardstock (purple base)
Craft Mat
Spritz bottle
Paper Towel
Ziploc Bag
Copics
Body - C2, C1, C0, C00
Mane/Hair - N6, V17, V15, V12
Hooves - N6
Horn - Y17, Y04
Heart - R43

Now check out the video!

You are my world, my whole universe - Prima and Finnabair exploding box

Hello friends :)

It's Aleksandra with you today again with some fresh Prima and Finnabair inspiration. Those of you who know my work allready, know, that I am absolutely in love with making exploding boxes with miniatures inside. But.... :) believe it or not I never made one with Prima and Finnabair goodies! How is that even possible??!! So today I'm sharing with you my first one. On the outside and inside of the box I tried to recreate the universe, with stars and galaxies and when the box opens there is an earth globe hidden inside of it - like the Earth in the Universe. I also added a plane flying around the world and some map with a heart clock and a pen. I used some gorgeous paper cards from collections Wild&Free and Love clippings to embellish sides of the box. I hope you'll like my project. I'll be so happy to hear your thoughts. :)

Happy Birthday!

Amy here with my Tuesday post and today I've made a birthday card that features mini Ian from The Greeting Farm's Mega Mini Lift Off set. These mini stamps are so perfect for scene building that I just had to give this birthday boy a whole bunch of star shaped balloons. I didn't bother masking the balloons before stamping because I wanted the lines to show, which helps give the appearance of them being see-through. Then I just colored them in and didn't worry about taking each consecutive color right over top the last. Once Ian and his bouquet of balloons were all colored up I did mask them off so that I could quickly stencil in the sunny background behind him. What a happy day this looks to be! :)

Alrighty, there is still plenty of time to enter this month's challenge for a chance at winning an awesome $20 gift certificate to the 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store... so get to creating and join the fun!

Celebrate

Ohhh Hello everyone...
How was your weekends ? Hope you had a good mother's day celebrations with your loved one.

It is me Yenni back again with a card to inspire you and to keep you mojo and your wallet (to shopping) keep active! ^_^

So for today's card, i am playing with my recent favorite stamp and that will be Garden girl stamps set and this time i choosed Stamping Bella Garden Girl Poppy.
I colored this lovely girl with copic markers.  To be honest, coloring an image with purple or violet shade always not easy for me, even when taking its picture. Somehow i can feel that the on the photo always not exactly the color in real.. only for purple or violet. Anyone has the same experience as me ?
To make this card even more beautiful, i have use some flowers from Wild Orchid craft flowers.

I hope you like what i shared today.

See you again next monday...i have some fun cute card to share with you.
Hint....CC Design brand ^_^

Take care

Yenni ^_^

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope today's a relaxing day for you and if you are a mom I hope you are getting spoiled. Did you see that 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store is having a store-wide SALE?!! Just type in MOMS at checkout to receive 20% off your entire purchase!! Hurry and grab your faves because this sale ends tonight!

My card features a stamp from SugarPea Designs called What's Poppin? This set is one of my faves! I hope they come out with a boy version because my son LOVES popcorn. He eats it every single day...sometimes twice a day. I colored this cutie with Copic Markers.

Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E01, E11, E13
Hair: E71, E77, E79
Red: R24, R27, R29, R39
Yellow: Y04, Y21, YR21, YR24, YR27
White: C1, C3, Colorless Blender
Shoes: C3, C5, C7, C9

I used the LDRS Creative Allifair Build A Card Die Set to cut out the shape of my card. I love this die set! It's so versatile and classy. See those popcorn tubs on the side of my image? I made those using the cloud die from the Allifair Build A Card Die Set and the coffee cup die from the SugarPea Designs Coffee To Go Cup Die Set. I inked the edges of the popcorn with Tim Holtz Fossilized Amber Distressed Oxide Ink. The blue polkadot paper behind my image was cut out using Avery Elle Wonky Stitches Die.

Don't forget about our current ANYTHNG GOES Challenge on the 7 Kids Challenge Blog. You can use any stamp in your stash!! Just click on the link on the right side bar to upload your card for a chance at winning a $20 gift certificate to the store!

Embossing and Ink Blending

This is Mindy from Paper Creations by Mindy and it's my day to post. I created TWO cards for today. Extra bonus - I have a process video to go with it!

My card today is using some embossing and ink blending. All the supplies will be listed below.

I started out by heat embossing the same image - one in black and one in white - just for the fun of it. I then taped it down with some painters tape and applied some Distress Ink Oxides to them both.

I stamped my sentiments using my Misti stamping tool and adhered it with my Scrapbook Adhesives tape runner.

Be sure to check out the video as I have some great tips and tricks in there to help you along the way!

You make everything better

Hello dear crafty friends :)

This wednesday started a new monthly challenge on the 7 kids Your Crafting Supply Store challenge blog. The theme is once again anything goes, which is great to just let your creativity blossom. :) And there is again a wonderful prize - a $20 gift certificate to the store, for the winner of the challenge, so be sure to join us! Can't wait to see all of your amazing creations.

This time I prepared soft, pastel, round tag with gorgeous Prima and Finnabair goodies. I used papers from gorgeous Wild&Free collection. Black, gold and soft pink tones make this collection so special and so dear to my heart and what I love most is that I can make a strong, colorful card or a soft and gentle one like this time. I added some gorgeous Prima resin embellishment and some glittered leaf stems and flowers from Rose Quartz, I so much enjoyed making this one and I hope you'll like it.

Here are the supplies I used from the 7 kids Your crafting supply store:
Have a great day and see you soon!
